Manpower has released their employment outlook survey which reflects growing uncertainty in the job market in Australia.
The good news is a surveyed 25% of employers are looking to increase hiring as opposed to 9% who are considering decreasing their recruitment policy.
Australia continues to be dictated to by means outside of its control, with the Australian job market being propped up by strong employment forecasts by China, yet weakened by sluggish growth in the US and Europe.
Declines in confidence have hit the Mining & Construction, Transport & Utilities and Retail sectors, as well as Public and Administration.
However, there still remains multiple skill shortages across the Australian labour market.
